For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Matthew 25:35-36
Faith in Action Missions Newtownards is a Northern Ireland based Christian Mission Organisation. We are a registered Charity with the Charity Commission NI.
The mission was officially constituted in 2002 for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Other aims include the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the preservation of health in adults and children in care homes and orphanages and the support of Christ centred Drug and Alcohol and former Prisoners Rehabilitation Centres in Ukraine and Belarus.
Our Primary Objectives:
To advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism by collaborating with local churches.
To provide Christ centred residential accommodation for sick and vulnerable adults and children.
To provide practical support to impoverished and disadvantaged communities because of social and economic circumstances, regardless of background.
To establish, maintain and manage or co-operate with local authorities in maintenance of residential centre or centres regarding activities promoted by the Mission.
To train volunteers to assist in the advancement of the mission's vision putting Faith into Action as born again believers.
